Customizing Your Event Page

10 min read

Your event page is where potential attendees decide whether to register. This guide shows you how to create a compelling page that converts visitors into registrants.

Accessing the Page Editor

From your event dashboard, click "Event Page" in the sidebar. This opens the visual editor where you can customize every aspect of your page.

Header Section

The header is the first thing visitors see. Make it count:

Upload a high-quality cover image. Recommended size is 1920x600 pixels. Choose an image that represents your event's energy and theme.

Your event logo appears over the cover image. Ensure it's visible against your background.

The event title and date display prominently. Double-check these are correct.

About Section

Write a compelling event description:

Start with the benefit to attendees. Why should they attend?

Include key details like what they'll learn, who they'll meet, and what makes this event unique.

Keep paragraphs short for easy scanning.

Use bullet points to highlight key takeaways.

Speakers and Sessions

Showcase your speakers to build credibility:

  • Add speaker photos, names, and titles
  • Include short bios highlighting their expertise
  • Link to their session topics

If your agenda is finalized, display the session schedule so attendees know what to expect.

Sponsors Section

Display sponsor logos to add credibility and fulfill sponsorship agreements:

  • Organize by sponsorship tier
  • Link logos to sponsor websites
  • Ensure proper sizing and alignment

Venue Information

For in-person events, help attendees plan their trip:

  • Embedded map showing the location
  • Nearby hotel recommendations
  • Transportation and parking details
  • Local attractions

Design Customization

Match the page to your brand:

Colors: Set primary and accent colors that match your brand guidelines.

Fonts: Choose from available font families for headings and body text.

Layout: Arrange sections in the order that tells your story best.

Mobile Preview

Over half of visitors will view your page on mobile. Use the preview toggle to see how your page looks on different devices. Ensure:

  • Text is readable without zooming
  • Buttons are easy to tap
  • Images scale properly
  • Forms are easy to complete

SEO Settings

Help people find your event through search:

  • Page title for search results
  • Meta description summarizing your event
  • Social sharing image and text

Publishing Your Page

Before publishing:

  1. Preview on desktop and mobile
  2. Test all links
  3. Complete a test registration
  4. Check confirmation emails

Click "Publish" when everything looks good. You can make changes anytime after publishing.

Best Practices

Use high-quality images that load quickly.

Write benefit-focused copy, not feature lists.

Include social proof like testimonials or past attendee quotes.

Create urgency with early bird deadlines or limited capacity.

Make the registration button prominent and repeat it throughout the page.

Next Steps
